about

'Cost of Living' is inspired by a world spinning out of control through rising energy costs, food costs, war on European soil and political dissent. It's an energetic alternative rock anthem sticking up for the working people. Combining swaggering attitude filled lyrics with fuzzed up force, big riffs and a funky bass line wrapped inside a danceable groove.

lyrics

Buy me out,
I don't need a house or a home,
These renters freak me out,
What's an interest free loan?
To be fair,
I don't want the stress,
Though I love to moan,
Run me into the ground,
I'll take care of the rest,

All on my own,
All on my own,

Cost of living,
Low price of admission,
Get what you're given,
A house full of villains,
And we know we're all going to sleep,
All we ask for is common decency,

Nothing to my name,
Stagnant minimum wage,
All these fucks and their mates,
Putting our money away,
For a rainy day,
And despite the age,
What did Marie Antoinette say?

Let them eat cake,
Let them eat cake,
Let them eat cake,
Woooooaaaahhhhh,

Cost of living,
Low price of admission,
Get what you're given,
A house full of villains,
And we know we're all going to sleep,
All we ask for is common decency,
And we know we're all going to sleep,
All we ask for is common decency,

Cost of living,
Low price of admission,
Get what you're given,
A house full of villains,
And we know we're all going to sleep,
All we ask for is common decency,

Cost of living,
Low price of admission,
Get what you're given,
A house full of villains,
And we know we're all going to sleep,
All we ask for is common decency,

Cost of living,
Cost of living,
It's the cost of living,
Cost of living,
